The following are the current rules. Changes to rules as needed.

4 CELL LEGENDS


1. CHASSIS: Absolutely no changes to the configuration of the chassis or cutting on the chassis parts. Front axle plate may be original 1 piece plate or the 3 piece front plates. Aftermarket plates may be used. No replacement parts of graphite or higher tech materials.
2. ELECTRONICS:Any radio may be used. Any Speed Control may be used. Location for the receiever and speed control on top of the battery plate is allowed. Steering servo may be mounted on the front axle plate. Adding an additional radio reciever battery pack is not allowed.
3. STEERING: Any off-center steering blocks may be substituted for original equipment steering blocks. Front springs may be changed from the original as supplied with the car. Shims are allowed on the front end to stiffen front ends. May also add front kingpin brace to help prevent breakage of the front axle plate. May put washer behind the E-clip on the axle, to stop it from pulling through. Original steering rods may be bent as needed, if the steering servo is mounted on the front axle plate. Double lock collars are allowed on each side of the steering linkage, to prevent slippage. Tie rod turn buckles may be used as a replacement for the wire steering rods as supplied with the car.
4. REAR AXLE/DIFFERENTIAL: Any axle may be used, to include the original steel axle, fiberglass or graphite. Aluminum hubs may be used on left and right side of rear axle. Ball bearings may be used on the front and rear axles
5. WHEEL BASE/Width and length: Maximum width shall not exceed: Front: 8 inches Rear: 8.25 inches Wheelbase length: 9.5 inches FRONT and REAR tires may not extend out past the body more than 3/8"
6. BODIES/BUMPER: Only R/C Legends Style Bodies are allowed as a replacement, coupes or sedans. No changes allowed from the trim lines, except for 1/4" tolerance around wheel openings for tire clearance. Body must be painted and all windows clear. Fenders may not be removed. Front and rear windows must be left intact. All cars will have bumpers. Any aftermarket bumper may be used, with the exception of a graphite bumper.
7. ANTENNA: No roll over or stiff antennas are allowed. Antenna may be mounted under the body.
8. TIRES: Any Foam tire or Capped tires.
9. MOTORS: Any motor.
10. BATTERIES: Any batteries.
11. LAP BREAK OUT TIME: 8.0 seconds. Subject to change.
12. REVERSE: Shall not be used at any time during a race.
13. RACE LENGTH: Legends will run 5 minute races.
Because of parts availiblity we will be open to parts subsitution.
6.0 Pan Car Breakout
Motor: Any
ESC: Any
Batteries: Any 4 cell nicd or nimh. No Lipo's.
Tires: Open
Weight: 40.8 ozs with transponder
Height: 4.5" to top of roof.
Bodies: Any NASCAR car or truck body - wing permitted - back can be cut out
Race Length: 4 minute heats and 50 lap mains
Brushless Rules:
The following classes have pretty much been out dated and no run any more.
4 Cell LIMITED SPEC 1. CHASSIS/ELECTRONICS: Any pan car chassis. Any radio and electronics.
2. MOTOR: Trinity Spec/Legends motor. Brushes will be Race Prep full faced "R" brushes or "F" brushes, with or without eyelets. Serrations are allowed, no special cuts permitted. Any spring combination may be used.
3. TIRES: Spec Capped tires, distinguished by any tire MFG. as a Capped Spec tire. All Spec Capped tires must be visually marked as a Spec tire.
4. GEARING:Any gearing.
5. BATTERIES: Trinity Street Spec/Legends/ Pro-Match Spec 4 cell GP 1600 batteries only. Batteries must have plugs. Any plugs allowed.
6. BATTERY CLAIMING RULE: (Also known as "Buy-Out") 4C Limied Spec classes are subject to a battery claiming rule. Claiming cost shall be, but not exceed, the retail price of the battery pack, including all taxes. The buy out must be brought to the tech official or Race Director so that the battery will be held for buy out. The person initiating the buy out from another racer will do so immediately and no later than, the following of the Qualifying round or Main, that the battery being bought out was ran. The person initiating the buy out will pay the owner of said battery, the retail cost of a replacement battery, to include taxes and or shipping. Any person not willing to allow their battery to be claimed will be disqualified from the Qualifier or Main that the buy out was presented. The battery buy out will only be in effect for the actual race that the battery was used and may not be open for buy out after the battery has been returned to the pit area.
7. WEIGHT: CAPPED TIRES: 39.8 ozs. (2lbs 7.8 ozs.) with transponders.
8. HEIGHT: Capped Tires: 4 ½" measured at roof.
9. BODIES: Any NASCAR BODIES.
10. LAP BREAK OUT TIME: 7.0 Seconds. Subject to change.
4 Cell PRO SPEC2. MOTOR: Trinity Spec/Legends motor. Brushes will be Race Prep full faced "R" brushes or "F" brushes, with or without eyelets. Serrations are allowed, no special cuts permitted. Any spring combination may be used.

7. WEIGHT: CAPPED TIRES: 40.8 ozs. (2lbs 8.8 ozs.) with transponders.
8. HEIGHT: 4 ½" measured at roof.

2. MOTORS: Stock 24 degree 27 turn motor. Machine wound. Any brush/cut and spring combination. Brush springs/posts/hoods may be changed from the original configuration. Any ARCOR or Roar approved motors.
3. BATTERIES: 4200 mA batteries or less.. NO BATTERY CLAIMING RULE IN THIS CLASS
4 .WEIGHT: CAPPED TIRES: 40.8 ozs. (2lbs 8.8 ozs.) with transponders.
5. HEIGHT: 4 ½" measured at roof.
